It is not what you have, or what you have accomplished, that sets you apart from other people it is who you have met and what you have shared of your heart and time that counts.
One of my nearest and dearest life long friends. I owe endless thanks to Allyson for bearing with me through out the last 37 years (yes, I am dating myself). Ally always kept her priorities in order and also made sure Horses were a part of her life and mine. We have come a long way from the days of Jane West Dolls and Breyer Model Horses. From Sandy and Star to Fat Apple and Fat April, then Lisa and Lilly (or was it Outlaw?), Centavo and Laddie, and on and on..... I think the performance arena should be the next goal to expand. How about NFR with in the next 5 - 10 years?

Good Friends
Ally and Meg on Fat April and Fat Apple at Old Santa Ynez Days Parade during our early Cachuma Trails Riding Stable days (could be 1975 or 1976?? Ha ha). We actually rode clear from Cachuma Riding Stables through San Lucas Ranch and into Santa Ynez, and back, for the parade. It was a good thing we had been wrangling 4 to 5 hours a day back then as that was a long ride.

Ah, Tami is definitely due my gratitude for pointing me toward Paso Robles and Grace Warner to find Perty Sugar Queen. Ally and I were down in Norco, Ca. looking at a horse and were feeling a little discouraged when Tami called. She mentioned a Horse on the Dream Horse site who I had actually viewed a couple of times already and said that I should just go up and look. Well, Tami did take me up and not only did I buy Sugar but fell in love with Rocko too. I could not be happier especially since Sugar was so perfect for the whole family so like my old Palomino mare Peaches who seemed irreplaceable. Thank God for Friends!
